I Don't Want Griffey Back
I’ve been thinking about it, the way he left Seattle, how his coming here would take AB’s from a young player in a rebuilding year. Nope. No Griffey, please. Plus, I don’t want to watch a player who left in he prime and came back half the player he once was. It would be like the Mariners of the ’80s when we signed guys like Gorman Thomas and Steve Yeager.
Reading the linked article above just reminded me why I at one time loathed Griffey as much as A-Rod. Though, that changed, and I no longer despise Junior… I just don’t want to see him back in Seattle until we’re retiring his jersey.
